I have a really bad sweet tooth. I love my desserts. Recently I’ve heard a lot of good things about this place called Milse in the city. So this week for date night that’s where we went.
It was the tiniest cafe I’ve seen in my life. But it so super cute and had a real boutique feel to it. We decided to get two things each and it all came to $32 – decide for yourself if that is good or not. But we did get Japanese for dinner afterwards and for both of our meals it came to $23 and that really put things into perspective for us haha.
My first treat was this Bomb Alaska. This is the most popular on their menu – and rightly so. It was a raspberry sorbet with vanilla gelato covered in white chocolate and covered again in meringue Holy crap. It was amazing from the very first bite.
Bryton got this sea salt caramel and toasted cacao nib gelato. I forgot to take a photo of the inside of his but I didn’t like it. I’m not a fan of salted caramel, but Bryton really enjoyed it!
I don’t remember exactly what my second one was. But it was so so so good!! It was like a chocolate mousse with white chocolate and passionfruit sauce inside and hazelnut praline. Mouth-watering.
Bryton had a macadamia praline, caramelia chocolate, and salted caramel gateaux. He said it wasn’t as good as the gelato, but he liked it.
This place is amazing and I’m super keen to try it again!!!
